This year they are also having a “Golden Bone Giveaway”. From now until 9/30/19 with any order, you have a chance of receiving 1 of 5 golden bones. This means you can win an assortment of SSS branded products from every release for an ENTIRE YEAR!
For Simon’s 10th STAMPtember, I had the pleasure of working with the Poinsettia Background. This background stamp is simply GORGEOUS!
I started by heat embossing the Poinsettia Background with Versamark Ink and gold embossing powder. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in the colors: Brick Beige (background), May Green, Yellow (flower centers), Carmine Red, Red, and Wine Red (flowers), Deep Green and Green (leaves). All the colors were pulled out with a water brush for a highlight effect.
The dried panel was cut down to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and adhered using Connect Glue to a matching beige panel that was cut to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches or A2 size.
I really like to try and use all scraps… I hate wasting beautiful pieces. So with the leftover scraps from cutting the flower panel down, I fussy cut individual leaves. I adhered these with little bits of foam tape. It really gives a lovely dimensional look to these flowers!
The “Happy Holidays” was die cut 3 times from heavy weight white cardstock and adhered together for a dimensional look. For just that added extra touch, I used an Aqua Shimmer pen on the sentiment. The finished panel was adhered to a top folding A2 size card base.
I hope you enjoyed my card for STAMPtember! As promised, here is my special code to score some awesome goodies with your order!
