Simon Says Stamp Rainbows Release Instagram Hop

Hello everyone! Today I am participating in an Instagram hop for Simon Says Stamp (SSS) Rainbows release. This release is just so happy! I love it!

I had the image of this card in my head and I am so happy that it came out just the way I imagined. It is such a classic look with the Navy and Gold… you can’t go wrong!

I started by making my card base from Hero Arts Nautical cardstock cutting at 4 1/4 by 11 inches and folding at 5 1/2 inches for a top fold base. I embossed a 4 by 5 1/4 inch panel of the Nautical cardstock with SSS Vine Canopy embossing folder. After embossing it once, I took out the folder and added Delicata Golden Glitz ink to the raised side only and ran it through my machine again. The gold ink really just makes the embossing pop!

I added a gold pearl panel from Tonic studios to add just a little pop around the edges. I cut the sentiment “You Are Enough” one time from the gold cardstock and 2 times from the Navy to make a stacked sentiment.

To add just a little bit more flow to my design, I cut the SSS “Outline Clustered Leaves” from vellum and splattered with gold Perfect Pearls and blue ink (I actually got the blue from a Hero Arts kit and I have no idea what it is…but it matched perfectly). I used Ranger Multimedia Matte to adhere the vellum… and between the splatters you can’t see the adhesive. Nice trick right?! The other elements I adhered with a strong liquid glue. And don’t forget about those sequins!
