Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are all having a great weekend and getting some craft time in. Today, I have have a bit more inspiration for A Blog Named Hero September Challenge: Clean and Simple.
To enter the challenge upload your project and use #abnhseptemberchallenge. By entering and using Hero Arts products you will be eligible to win one of two gift vouchers from our fabulous sponsor and name sake…Hero Arts!
I started by cutting the Sunflare Window die from white cardstock and purple fun foam. This gave some dimension and a tiny pop of color from the side for a really cool look. All pieces were adhered together and to the front of a side fold A2 cardbase. I then gold heat embossed a flower and some leaves from a set called “Blossom Art” but any lined flower image would work well…use what you have.
On the backside of the flower, I used Copic markers to add color. With this technique you don’t need to worry too much about blending. I stamped and heat embossed a simple sentiment on matching purple cardstock. The sentiment and flower were adhered to the card using liquid glue. I made sure to hide the glue behind the embossing so it wouldn’t show through the vellum.
