More Inspiration for A Blog Named Hero October Challenge-Texture

Welcome back everyone! Today, I have a bit more inspiration for A Blog Named Hero October Challenge “Texture”.

I started by using a stencil from the Hero Arts October release called “Victorian Stencil”. I used some Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel in Grass Green and let completely dry before cutting it down to about 4 by 5 1/4. This stencil and glitter gel is stunning. I can’t wait to do more cards with it!

I cut the Joy Ornament 2 times from white cardstock and then one time from holographic cardstock. I stacked these layers to give some dimension. Using a circle die the size of the ornament, I cut some white glitter cardstock as the back of the ornament.

I positioned the ornament onto the glitter panel and adhered with liquid glue (I put something heavy on the top and left it for a few minutes so it could adhere to the glitter). I then cut leaf shapes from green cardstock, scored down the middle and cut some “fringe”. I then randomly took out a few pieces and “fluffed” them to look like pine branches. As a finishing touch I added a few “berries” using some red gems.
