Simon Says Stamp “Peace On Earth” Release Inspiration

Hello again everyone! It is release day for Simon Says Stamp (SSS). As always, SSS has so many amazing products! I have some inspiration for you today using a stamp set by CZ Designs. If you are looking for the entire release, you can see it here.

Starting with an A2 sized white card base, I used the Scattered Stars stencil to dry emboss the front panel only. I then used Delicata Golden Glitz to ink through the stencil. While the base was drying, multiple sprays were used to create the fun green background (I will list a few that I use but I can’t remember them all…I used everything I had). After the background was dried, I used hexagon dies to cut out the sprayed background and the slightly larger layers behind the background.

I used the “Holiday Silhouettes” to gold heat emboss the trees and white heat emboss the sentiment. I added some cute stars to the top of my trees as a finishing touch.

My next inspirational card uses the same stamp set and a beautiful slim line stencil.

I used a mini slim line (3 1/2 by 6 1/2) white card base to ink blend Distress Oxide Speckled Egg ink through the new Geometric Snowflakes Stencil. I didn’t want it fully blended end to end so I ink blended random areas. I splattered some Perfect Pearls (mixed with water) onto the background and set aside to dry. I then stamped the trees and heat embossed using silver embossing powder. I didn’t have the dies so I fussy cut the images out.

After the cardbase was dry, the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in the same silver embossing powder. I adhered all the trees using liquid adhesive and foam tape for some dimension. As a final touch, clear drops were added for a snow effect.

I hope that you enjoyed these clean and simple cards from the new release at Simon Says Stamp. Stay tuned for more inspiration from this release and don’t forget to check out all the other design inspiration at Simon Says!
