“Peace Love Hope Joy” Holiday Card

Hello! Welcome back to my blog. Thank you for visiting me. Today, I have a festive holiday card featuring some Simon Says Stamp (SSS) goodies from their newest release “Homemade Holiday“.

I chose some fun plaid patterned paper and cut it down to 4 by 5 1/4 inches. Using the “Rustic Snowflake” stencil, I blended some black ink onto the pattern paper. Making sure to clean off my stencil, Cherry Glitz Glitter gel was added after shifting it just slightly on the paper. I set the panel aside to dry.

I cut the “Peace love hope joy” die from black fun foam, black, and white glitter cardstock. I layered them together slightly offset for some nice dimension. After my star panel was dry, I added white spatters for a snowy look. For added interest, red velvet ribbon was adhered toward the bottom of the panel.

The “Peace love hope joy” sentiment was added to the panel along with some red gems for a finishing touch. For some extra dimension, red fun foam was added behind the panel and adhered to a Fog card base that measured 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!
