Spellbinders Embroidery Flowers-Simple Yet Elegant Card Technique

Hello everyone. I’m so glad you joined me today. I have some inspiration for you using Spellbinders Embroidery Flowers stamp set. I just love the look of this set. It has a beautiful sewn look without having to do all the stitching! The technique I used is also very easy to do.

I started with a panel of navy cardstock and stamped the smaller flower and leave images using “Perfect Medium”. This is a sticky type of ink that can be used with Perfect Pearls. After the panel was stamped, I used a brush to add gold Perfect Pearls which covered and adhered to the sticky ink. If there was any extra, I used a dusting cloth to gently wipe it off. The stamped panel was adhered slightly offset onto a navy A2 card base. Anything extra was trimmed off the sides.

I gold heat embossed the “be kind” sentiment onto a strip of the navy cardstock and added a gold matte. The sentiment strip was adhered across the card and a few gold pearls were added for a final touch.

Supply List:

This is such an easy technique that it would be very easy to mass produce. I also think that it would look gorgeous in different colors! I hope you enjoyed this quick card today. Have a great day!
