Simon Says Stamp “And Back Again” Release

Hi crafty friends! I am here to show you some inspiration from Simon Says Stamp (SSS) newest release “And Back Again”. If you notice, the previous release was “To The Moon” making this a companion release “To The Moon And Back Again”. So fun right?

Today, I have 2 cards using the same stencil set but producing different looks. So let’s get into it!

For this card, I started with an A2 panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock and ink blended Pink Fresh Seaside, Mermaid Cove and Meadow ink through the Mandala stencil that was offset in the corner of the panel. I then offset the stencil over my original ink blended image and added some gorgeous Glitz Glitter Gel.

I die cut the scripty hugs die from black cardstock 2 times and adhered them together for dimension. The inked panel was cut down to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and the smaller sentiment was stamped with black ink from the new “Friend Greetings” stamp set. I adhered the hugs sentiment and added a bit of shimmer. The panel was adhered to a cardbase of Peacock Teal cardstock. Finally, some gorgeous Pink Fresh pearls were added for a final touch.

Supply List:

For this card, I centered the stencil onto a panel of white cardstock and used the Glitter Gels through the stencil. This stencil does come with masks so it made it easier to get the colors separate. I actually like when they mix a little bit so I didn’t mind.

After the panel was dry, I trimmed it to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and adhered it to a black A2 panel. The “You Shine” Die was cut from white cardstock and the “you” was die cut from black cardstock 2 times and stacked for dimension.

The finished panel was adhered to a white A2 card base. I thought that the glitter really spoke for itself and no extra embellishments were added.

I hope you enjoyed my inspiration for you today. Have a fantastic crafty day!
