Always And Forever

Hi everyone! I’m glad you could join me today on the blog. Over on Instagram, I am participating in a hop for Simon Says Stamp (SSS) for their newest release “And Back Again”. I hope you join us! There will be a lot of inspiration and a chance to win $25 gift card at each stop.

I decided to go big and bold for this card. Why not, right? I started with a piece of alcohol ink cardstock. Pinks, Reds and blending solution were used with an air blower to move the ink. A bit of gold mixative was also added.

After the alcohol ink panel was dry, it was die cut with the Big XOXO. I then used the same die on white cardstock cutting 3 times. One set was put inside the inked panel. I aligned the Botanical Heart and stamped using Altenew Obsidian ink. I then heat set all of the elements using clear embossing powder.

The inked panel was adhered to a white top folding A2 card base and the plain white X’s and O’s were inset in the panel. The X’s and O’s are stacked for dimension ending with the stamped one. I cut the sentiment strip down to size and adhered black scraps to the back for more dimension.

A few final touches of black gems completed the card. I really love all of the contrast! Since the inked X and O die cuts weren’t used for this card, you can make another card. Bonus!

Supply List:

I hope you enjoyed the card for today. Until next time crafty friends!
