Ink Blot Shop Release Inspiration

Yay! I am so happy to post my first design team card for Ink Blot Shop with their new release. I absolutely love it. I love the script, I love the images etc etc. For today’s inspiration, I have an edge to edge shaker card featuring a few new products. Let’s go!

I started by stamping a panel of Neenah cardstock with the “Scripty Love You” background in Altenew Obsidian black ink. While that was drying, I prepared my acetate. I used some recycled packaging that was cut about 1/2 inch larger than my panel. The panel was placed face down on the acetate and strong double sided adhesive was adhered to the back. I took the release paper off 3 sides and tightly wrapped the packaging around the panel. Heart confetti and glitter were added to the top and then sealed tightly.

I stamped the “Little Sweeties” with black Copic safe ink onto Neenah cardstock and colored all of these adorable girls at the same time with varying hair and skin tones. This one reminds me so much of my daughter with her sweet curls and caramel colored skin. She was then fussy cut and adhered to the shaker panel with double sided adhesive.

For the speech bubble, I traced a Simon Says Stamp stencil and stamped the sentiment onto red cardstock. This would be very easy to free hand but I don’t trust myself making straight lines. The bubble was also adhered with double sided adhesive. I just find that this works better than a liquid glue on the plastic. The finished panel was adhered to a side fold A2 white card base.

Supply List:

This card came together so easily. I love the simple images and beautiful text. I hope you do too! Have a beautiful day today because “You Are So Loved”!
