Simon Says Stamp “Hello Gorgeous” Instagram Hop

Welcome! Today, I am participating in an Instagram hop to celebrate Simon Says Stamp and their newest release. Please hop along to see all of the beautiful inspiration. There will be a prize at every stop that is randomly drawn from all the comments. Let’s show everyone some love!

If you don’t have Instagram, you can get the details for my card inspiration below. I hope you enjoy it! Let’s get to it!

I started with an A2 size panel of alcohol ink cardstock. I added Ranger alcohol inks in: Vineyard, Amethyst, Stone Washed, and Patina. The “Tin Tile” stencil was then added on top of the inked panel. Blending solution was added to the panel along with Rose Gold mixative. I made sure not to add too much so the beautiful purples and blues can show though. I set the panel aside to dry.

I stamped the sentiment with black pigment ink onto white cardstock and used clear embossing powder to heat set. This gives it such a beautiful shine. There are dies available for this set but I found that fussy cutting was quite easy. I die cut the “Etched Berry Branch” twice from blue violet cardstock and once from vellum.

The inked panel was trimmed down to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and adhered using liquid glue to a white card base. I then adhered the branches so they would look like a larger continuous branch. The sentiment was popped up slightly. I cut the vellum leaves from the branch and adhered them around the sentiment. For a finishing touch, some beautiful purple pearls were added as the berries.
