My cards for you today include a 2 for 1 idea that really worked out perfectly. It was a happy accident if I’m totally being honest. Same background, same inks with two totally different looks.

To make the background panels:
- Apply white pigment ink to the background stamp and stamp onto an A2 black cardstock panel.
- Let pigment ink dry (or heat set) before moving to next step.
- Apply Reactive inks onto background stamp making sure to blend between colors.
- Stamp onto the black panel on top of the white pigment ink. Set aside.
- Lightly spray the background stamp with water to activate the left over inks.
- Stamp onto watercolor paper or Bristol smooth paper (I let mine sit for a few minutes before lifting).

Card 1
- Trim inked panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and add a black matte behind it.
- Cut a strip of black cardstock (Mine was just under 2 inches).
- Stamp moon, sun and planet from the kit with embossing ink and heat set with gold embossing powder.
- Add sentiment with embossing ink and heat set with white embossing powder.
- Adhere black cardstock strip to inked panel and trim excess from top and bottom if needed.
- Die cut clouds from white cardstock and adhere with liquid glue.
- Add the finished panel to a top folding A2 top folding white card base.

Supply List:
- My Monthly Hero December 2022 Kit
- Dove White Cardstock
- Unicorn Pigment Ink
- Embossing Ink
- Embossing Powder: White and Gold
- Liquid Glue
- Hero Hues Reactive Ink: Blue Raspberry, Blue Hawaii, Purple Galaxy, and Berry Smoothie *I have Splash pictured but I believe I used Blue Hawaii. Sorry for any confusion!

Card 2
- Trim inked panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches
- Using black ink, stamp the stars included in the kit and die cut with the coordinating die.
- Color stars with Copic markers or your favorite coloring medium.
- Stamp the sentiment with black ink onto white cardstock and trim to size.
- Add foam or extra cardstock pieces to the back of the sentiment for dimension. Adhere to the panel
- Using liquid glue, add the stars at different lengths under the sentiment.
- Add the finished panel to a A2 top folding white card base.
I really wanted to keep this card quite simple. I thought the background was so pretty I couldn’t bear to cover it up too much!
