I have a few fun ways to use this kit as inspiration. Let’s start by using the amazing cover plate.
I started by white heat embossing the background brick image onto cranberry cardstock. I added a bit of Root Beer Reactive ink along with Unicorn Pigment ink for a “distressed” look. I cut a panel of white cardstock using the cover die. An oval die was also used to cut the center of a white panel. I thought this would make for a fun vignette featuring the kitchen.
I cut the top 2 shelves due to them not being seen with the vignette opening. I then colored the kitchen panel using Copic markers (please see supply list for colors). I had to add the little toast die cuts to the toaster…it was just too cute!
The 3 panels (brick, kitchen and vignette) were adhered together using liquid glue and added to an A2 card base. A small rectangle was cut from white cardstock and colored with Copic markers for a wood sign that features the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped using embossing ink and white embossing powder that was heat set. It was then adhered to the finished panel.
Supply List:

- Cranberry Cardstock
- White Embossing Powder

- Root Beer Reactive Ink
- Unicorn Pigment Ink
The next card, I had a lot of fun with! I used the brick background and sentiments from the kit for a colorful birthday card.
Using a panel of white cardstock, I ink blended a pretty rainbow in Reactive inks. I then white heat embossed the brick background onto the piece. To mix things up, I cut along the embossed lines and alternated the pieces between rightside up and upside down. I used a piece of copy paper to keep the pieces together and trimmed the altered panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches.
The background was added to a black A2 card base. I cut a few hexagons from black cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiments from the kit. I did add a bit of foam tape to the “Happy Birthday” for dimension.
