Challenge Accepted

Hello everyone! I’m so excited that this is the first “official” month that I am “A Blog Named Hero” design team member. And this month the challenge is… Floral.

Now, I guess you could say that I took my interpretation for this is a little outside the box.

I used the “Floral Love” stamp set to create a 4 leaf clover. I figured…March…St. Patrick’s Day and I think we could all use a little luck!

This card was very simple to make and I think it would look amazing with Gold embossing or actually die cutting the clover/heart pieces. I may have to revisit this with some of those ideas.

On to how I made the card: I simply stamped the heart image with what else but Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink onto a panel of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Since the ink stays wet, I added clear embossing powder and heat embossed. A little ink “smooshing” with Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron along with some spatter completed the panel. I then stamped and embossed the “Sending You” sentiment with gold embossing powder. I matted each piece with some gold paper and adhered to a 120 lb side folding A2 base.

Come and join the challenge! We would love to see your projects. Plus, you could win a gift card to Hero Arts.

Stay crafty friends!
