Hello crafters! Today, Simon Says Stamp (SSS) has an awesome new release called “Good Luck Charm”. I’m sure that you will have a lot of luck finding some fun products to add to your stash.
I have a quick but cute card for some inspiration today. I hope you enjoy it… it’s magical.
I started with an A2 size piece of white cardstock and stamped a rainbow using the SSS Rainbow Is My Favorite Color stamps. Pink Fresh inks were used in: Sparkling Rose, Apricot, Aquamarine, and Violet. I then used a stitched rectangle die to cut the panel.
Next, I used the new Shamrock background with black pigment ink to stamp over the rainbow. I added clear embossing powder and heat set. The Sending Smiles was cut from white cardstock, covered with embossing ink, gold embossing powder and was then heat set. This die does not come with an outline. To make the outline vellum piece, I simply traced the die with a pencil and cut following my line. Any pencil marks were erased. Ta Da! A background for my sentiment to soften the busy shamrocks.
I adhered the sentiment and vellum piece with liquid glue to the card front and added some beautiful golden baubles. The panel was then added to another piece of white cardstock that was cut using an A2 Scallop die. I really like that little bit of added texture. The final piece was adhered to an A2 card base.
