“Hang in There” Spellbinders Jump For Joy

Hello there crafty friends. For my card today, I am using the Spellbinders “Jump for Joy” from the Cardmakers II collection. This little froggy is just the cutest! To make him even more fun, I added him to a wobble so he really is hanging in there!

I started by stamping the frog onto white cardstock with black ink. I colored him using Copic markers (Please see supply list for colors) and I did add some more detail with colored pencils. I had to get those “nooks and crannies”. There are no dies for this image so I fussy cut it which was quite easy. Little google eyes were added for a bit of fun! For my “water” panel, I used blue cardstock and ink blended a slightly darker blue with a wave stencil. This panel was then cut to 3 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches. The sentiment was white heat embossed to stand out from the gorgeous blue background.

I ripped a piece of vellum to make a wave…although you can’t see the top very much in the pictures. The vellum was wrapped around the panel and adhered to the backside so the adhesive wouldn’t show. The water panel was matted onto blue glitter cardstock for some shine. I added the wobble to the frog and panel. I then die cut flowers using the Large Die of the Month-April to make “lilly pads” in the water. Gorgeous iridescent bubbles were added as a final touch. The finished panel was adhered to an A2 side folding white card base.

Have a great day and hand in there!
