Hello crafty friends! Today, I have a clean and fairly simple card for you using products from the newest Hero Arts Release. This card has a very romantic feel to it…maybe its because Valentine’s Day is coming up or maybe because it’s my wedding anniversary this weekend. Either way, its a pretty card for someone you love.
I started with the “Hearts & Blossom” cover plate cut from white cardstock. This was adhered to an A2 white cardbase. This really makes the background stand out without being too bold. I didn’t want to take anything away from the center focus.
I stamped the lock, key, flower and leaf images with contour ink using my MISTI stamping tool. The images were colored with Copic markers (see supply list for colors). Because I didn’t remove my stamps from the MISTI, I was then able to gold heat emboss all images. They were then cut using the coordinating dies.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto white cardstock and trimmed it down to size. All elements were arranged onto the card front and adhered using liquid glue and/or foam tape.
I added a few Golden Baubles and Confetti sequins as some final touches.
